I have over 20 years of production experience for the place with 3 letters that I am not even going to mention as they’ll pull me up on “conflict” issues, as they do every year, even though I’m not on air!

This falls into insignificance compared to my time spent at Galaxy at Leeds as part of the weekend networked programming. This allowed me to develop my commercial production programming skills. I was able to work alongside major broadcasting talent on their shows, major network club outside broadcasts

Compared to these days there certainly isn’t as many walls to break down to get something on air – It remains the best place I will ever work because of the people and atmosphere #g-g-galaxy

I think there’s a damn sprinkling of the 105 years on the podcasts still (even if it is just the pitching up!)

Since the start of 2024 I have lead the musical direction and programming of a show that is carried on 3 of the local SSDAB stations closest to me – working alongside the presenter to get a fantastic weekly blend of programming standards.
